Rosineer GRIP Twist Rosin Press, 2.5 Ton Force

This press is top notch quality however the mounting plate for the controller was mis machined. I had to modify the plate with a bench grinder for it to fit. Poor Q/C during the verification process of the accessory is my bet for the problem. Rosineer was nice about everything but didn't even offer me a replacement mount to try or a free sticker....nothing but thanks for modifying and letting us know. I found for $300 bucks their customer service is less than desired. When buying any press regardless of price, service after the sale is very important. This I will consider when I go to larger operations next year.

Have used all the rosin press machines and this one is just as excellent as the rest for a fraction of the hassle.

I purchased my first-ever Rosin press two weeks ago. It was the Rosineer Presso. It's an excellent press for the price too, just like this here Rosineer Grip--But it was much smaller than expected--countertop appliance size.

And even though it is fairly heavy duty for a little lever-action press, it left me... wanting.
Wanting more. Wanting more pressing power. Wanting more plate space. So I purchased the Rosineer Grip.

Lemmie tell ya, this sucker is still in the "Beginner Press" price range but it would fool you into thinking it's a much more expensive piece of kit than it is. At $319USD (at the time of this review), you will be hard pressed (haha get it) to find a better piece of kit for making high quality rosin. The only plastic on this rig is the screw-on caps to the twist handle. Everything else is all metal, and it is heavy.

This press is for pressing 7-10 grams of flower at a time. 10 Grams may actually be pushing it. But I pressed 7 grams my first time using the Grip, at 168F, and i got about 1.5grams of rosin from the dry, cured flower, and it is a beautiful golden color.

Do the plates align properly? Check. Is the twisting mechanism lubricated properly? Check. Can you use it right away as soon as you put this press together? Check.
